Being a manager, he/she should offer leadership to other employees despite challenges at hand. Employees look towards the company's leadership to ensure that they can get adequate guidance to solve problems (Babalola, Stouten, Euwema, & Ovadje, 2018). In this case, the manager's irritability can further affect the employees, thus compounding the problems excessively.
To tackle the self-issues, the manager should first identify the factors causing the agitation. This would ensure that such factors are isolated, enabling the manager to put them under control before they further affect his/her conduct (Babalola, Stouten, Euwema, & Ovadje, 2018). Understanding the underlying issues surrounding this issue also helps with finding a solution since the manager can better find triggers causing the self-issues. Avoiding the source of the conflict also puts further problems since it can cause a build-up of emotions that can lead to unwanted acts of aggression towards other employees.
