Transformational Leader
This leader is an inspiration to positive change in those they lead and the entire organizational setup they operate in. To achieve successful organizational outcomes, they create a peculiar philosophy within the business to foster positive change and innovative culture (“The 4 “I’s” of Transformational Leadership,” 2022). The founder of Wal-Mart, Sam Walton, is an example of such a leader, from his tradition of visiting Wal-Mart stores, showing his appreciation to his associates for their dedication to the stores (Farnsworth et al., 2019).
Visionary Leader
A visionary leader has a given cause that they commit to and a vision guided by long-term goals concerning the future. These people possess inspirational abilities that motivate them to make their contribution towards such identified goals, walking with them as a team through the journey to achieving the goals in a collaborative, honest, and open manner. Steve Jobs (former Apple CEO) is considered a visionary leader who changed the world in an inspirational, innovative, and genius way through his innovations in iPod, iPad, iPhone, and personal computer (Beheshti, 2018).
